Two times per year new trainees are welcomed at TU Delft. Last September 10 new trainees joined the PDEng and, as it traditionally happens, the colleagues organized a welcome event. This time they discovered Delft’s secrets in a treasure hunt. The team composed by Antonis, Namrata, Marina and Francesco won the game!

One of the most successful events organized by the Social Committee has been the Christmas Dinner 2019 edition.  The trainees exchanged good wishes before holidays and won their gifts in the Sinterklaas game.

The international dinner, a PDEng custom, where the new trainees are invited to cook and share food from their region, was one of the first events organized by the social committee for the trainees who joined the program in February 2018. During the summer of 2018, the social committee of DIDEA organized the traditional summer barbecue at the Delftse Hout, a park with a lake which is located about fifteen minutes by bike from the TU Delft. The PDEngs had an exciting game night organized by the social committee on 23rd June at Prof. Schermerhornstraat. Various tables were set up for different games like Ticket to Ride, Rummikub, Poker, Monopoly and Risk.
